This Christmas, Cornerstone Arts Centre is turning into an enchanted world of magic, music, and mayhem – and you (yes, you!) could be right there in the spotlight.
Award-winning producers Polka Dot Pantomimes are on the hunt for two kinds of local legends:
Whether you dream of dancing alongside Belle and Dolly Doughnut, plotting with the dastardly Grimalkin, or stealing the show as the Beast’s mischievous furry sidekick – this is your chance to make some Christmas magic.
The Big Day for Young Performers:
Saturday 13 September, 1–4pm at Cornerstone Arts Centre in Didcot
If you’re at least 9 years old by 1 September 2025, grab your dancing shoes and a big smile. The audition will be fun and friendly – think short games, a simple routine, and showing off your personality. Top tip: they’re looking for potential, not perfection, so just give it your all and enjoy yourself!
Don’t forget: you’ll need to bring a printed audition form, which you can download from the Polka Dot Pantomimes website or attached below.
The Call for Canines:
Polka Dot Pantomimes are also looking for one (or more!) local doggie divas to play the Beast’s loyal but cheeky sidekick. If your dog has obedience or agility experience – or just knows a few fun tricks – they could be perfect for the role.
Furry auditionees must be available from 18–31 December for a busy but thrilling panto schedule. Owners can register interest via Cornerstone’s website.
