1930s Britain: Baldini, a fixture of the British Music Hall Magic Circuit, has never achieved the success he feels he deserves. He suspects an unseen power is working against him. Baldini discovers a mysterious clue that identifies a secret cabal of Magicians (THE ILLUSIONATI) as this power.
