Covid Safety

Mask wearing is now a personal choice in England, but we politely encourage you to wear one when you visit our theatre to protect our audiences and staff.

Performances in Cornerstone Arts Centre's auditorium will not be socially distanced, however our aircon extractor system means that air flow will be fresh and not recycled. For your peace of mind, all our staff are carrying out lateral flow tests at least once a week.

We're hiring a Tap Dance Tutor

Cornerstone Arts Centre in Didcot is looking for a dance tutor to lead our weekly tap dance classes for adults from January 2022.

  • Closes 3rd October 2021
  • Part time
  • Salary: £40k-50k pro rata

We run two tap dance classes which happen back to back every Wednesday at Cornerstone. Our beginners' class runs from 6.30-7.15pm and our intermediate class runs from 7.30-8.15pm. Our courses last for 10 weeks, with a break for half term. The first class of the term will be on Wednesday 12th January 2022.

  • A short covering letter outlining suitability and relevant experience

  • Contact details of two referees

All tutors are employed on a freelance basis, so you will be responsible for paying your own tax. Our normal rate of pay is £30 per hour, but this is negotiable depending on experience.
