Stop Press

Stop Press! The professional cast for our Christmas show The Nutcracker and the Mouse King are in the building.

The team of talented guys and girls arrived at Cornerstone, Didcot on Monday morning (13 November) for the start of three and a half weeks of rehearsals for the Art Centre's first ever home-grown Christmas production.

The Nutcracker and the Mouse King will run for three weeks from Friday December 8 until Saturday December 30. Starring five professional young actors, supported by 45 youngsters from the local area, this promises to be a cracker of a Christmas show!

The play has been written and produced by Cornerstone, in association with Goblin Theatre. This is enormously exciting as it marks the first time that this Didcot-based Arts Centre has produced its very own show using a fabulous team of musicians, writers, designers and directors to bring the traditional E.T.A. Hoffman story to life.

The festive story -- suitable for the whole family from 2 to 102 -- will be told using theatre, music, song and traditional storytelling.

And don't forget, Cornerstone is also open all over the Christmas period for the first time ever! Which means you can bring the family to enjoy our festive gem between Christmas and New Year (and have a break from TV re-runs and left overs!).

A family ticket to see The Nutcracker and the Mouse King is just £50. Individual tickets are £15, and concessions are £13.50. Or why not come in a group and benefit from great discounts? Contact our Box Office to find out more.
