Didcot Garden Party 2023 launches in July

This year’s Didcot Garden Party is bigger and better than ever!

Starting from 22 July all the way through to 30 August, we have exciting events and activities taking place here and in open spaces and community halls in the garden town and surrounding villages. All events will be FREE with no prior booking required – just come along and enjoy.

Pop along anytime between 11am and 3pm on 22 July in the outside courtyard area at Cornerstone for our FREE launch event. Join us to watch an amazing Bubble artist, a High Tea performance with a twist and bop along to DJ Strange’s beats. There’s also a crafting workshop where you can make your very own paper bug!

Cornerstone will be putting on lots of other performances as well as running arts and crafts sessions during the party season. New to this year, we’re putting on some fabulous have live bands on a few early evenings for adults to enjoy.

There will be a wide variety of sports and activities taking place in town and surrounding villages for everyone to participate – dance, walks (including an evening adult walk), family yoga, scooting and skateboarding, orienteering and even table tennis.

Plus this year, we’re also holding three FREE community days.  We’ve invited lots of local groups and partners to join us to come along to these events taking place at 1-4pm:

• 8 August – Environment Day at Cornerstone – find out how by making just a few changes you can help tackle climate change
• 10 August – Keeping Active Day at Didcot Civic Hall – come along and try out new activities, sports and sessions
• 11 August – Food and Finances Day at Cornerstone – discover what support is available for households looking to make their money go further
