Covid Safety

Mask wearing is now a personal choice in England, but we politely encourage you to wear one when you visit our theatre to protect our audiences and staff.

Performances in Cornerstone Arts Centre's auditorium will not be socially distanced, however our aircon extractor system means that air flow will be fresh and not recycled. For your peace of mind, all our staff are carrying out lateral flow tests at least once a week.

We are very much looking forward to welcoming you to back to Cornerstone.

Deals and Offers

We’ve now entered Step 4 of the government’s roadmap and our community centre is now fully open for hire.

To help prevent the spread of Covid-19 we are continuing to:

  • Clean regularly:  We ensure hygiene measures and regular cleaning is completed, including touch points, such as door handles
  • Provide hand sanitisation:  Visitors can find hand sanitiser points at reception and at all main entrances
  • Increase ventilation: When safe to do so, we keep all windows and doors open to increase fresh air circulation
  • Allow extra time: To reduce crowds and queuing, we encourage hirers book in time to set up prior to their activities.  We also allow additional time between hires, to clean the rooms and minimise contact between groups entering and exiting our centre

If you think you might have symptoms of Covid-19, please stay at home and take a PCR test.

You can find out more information on guidance and where you can access Covid-19 tests on the government’s website.
