Cornerstone will keep creating!

Following government advice about Coronavirus, Cornerstone Arts Centre is currently closed to the public. Visit our blog post for more information on this closure: here.

Cornerstone Arts Centre is still Didcot's community hub even in this unprecedented time where we can't be physically open. We will continue to illuminate theatre, visual arts, community spirit and everything else under our umbrella in the best way we possibly can online.

For a while, our website is going to look a little different. We are creating pages with details of our new digital initiatives including virtual galleries, streaming theatre and bringing classes into your living rooms so you can enjoy us even during this period. We will continue to be a community resource and we look forward to seeing you again in person when this is all over.

Coronavirus Update

Stop Press

Following advice from Government, NHS and Public Health England about the outbreak of Coronavirus (COVID-19) we’re staying open and performances are going ahead as scheduled.

This is of course an ever-changing situation. If there are any future changes to our opening hours, we will update the website and notify ticket-holders affected. If there are any changes to a performance or event we are hosting, we will be in touch with ticket-holders directly by email (or phone if we don’t hold an email address) as soon as possible.

We have put a variety of different measures in place to combat and restrict transmission, which include additional cleaning measures, an increase in public information and signage, as well as making hand soaps and sanitisers more readily available. We’re asking all visitors or workers in the building to stay aware of the latest advice from Government on Coronavirus and to follow up to date advice to minimise the risk of the virus spreading. Staff are also monitoring the welfare of audiences, colleagues and visiting artists who attend our building.

Tickets are not refundable, unless a performance is cancelled or postponed. In the case of the latter, the ticket will still be valid for the new date unless a refund option is chosen. Any refunds must be processed within 30 days of the original show date and are refunded at face value.

We ask audience members to also play a part in prevention, please refer to the NHS guidance here.

Cornerstone is brought to you by South Oxfordshire District Council.
