Please find below some helpful F&Q to help explain the changes...
What is happening to the adult classes at Cornerstone?
From April 2017, Cornerstone and Oxfordshire Adult Learning will be partnering to provide new and innovative adult learning courses in Didcot. Currently all of the Oxfordshire Adult Classes that take place at Cornerstone are booked by learners through the Box Office and the administration is completed by Cornerstone staff. From the summer term Abingdon and Witney College will lead on all aspects of the courses. Other than the way that you book your place on the course you shouldn’t notice any big differences.

When and how do I book my place onto one of the summer term classes?
Places for the summer term can now be booked. You can enrol onto the courses online by visiting the website: www.abingdon-witney.ac.uk/part-time-course
If you do not have internet access you can book by calling Abingdon and Witney College on: 01235 555 585
If I am already doing a course will I automatically be booked onto the summer course?
No, learners need to book and pay for their place each term. If you would like to carry on the course in the summer you will need to book onto it via Abingdon and Witney College, as above.
I’ve looked on the Abingdon and Witney College website and some of the course prices are different to what I usually pay, why is this?
There are some price differences which mainly benefit the learner. This is due to the way in which Oxfordshire Adult Classes funding operates, you will see that the concession prices are also listed on the website.
Will all of the classes listed run in the summer term, regardless of how many people book on?
There is a minimum number of learners needed for Abingdon and Witney College to be able to run each course, this varies depending on the costs involved. If the numbers are too low to feasibly run the course learners who have already booked will be notified and refunded by Abingdon and Witney College.
If I have any queries about the Oxfordshire Adult Learning course who do I contact?

We hope that you will continue to attend the Adult Learning Courses and look forward to seeing you at Cornerstone in the future.
