Didcot Garden Party 2023 - Launch Day

Join us in the courtyard at Cornerstone for the launch of this year's Didcot Garden Party on Saturday 22 July between 11am and 3pm.

We have the following exciting performances and activities taking place:

• DJ Strange - Dance the day away from 10am till 4pm to family friendly pop and feel good summer time hits with DJ Strange.
• Crafting workshop - Drop in from 11am till 3pm to create your own paper bug, add colourful wings, legs and googly eyes to make your new friend come to life.
• High Tea with a Twist - Expect glittery cakes, outrageous costumes and theatrical high jinx in an explosion of bright colour and silliness at 12pm and 2.30pm.
• Youth Theatre pop up - Find out what our youth theatre learn during our fun classes at this pop up at 2pm.

Didcot Garden Party is a summer long installation in Didcot Town Square just outside Cornerstone Arts Centre; injecting colour, life and fun into the heart of our town.  The Garden Party will feature a range of shows and workshops across the summer holidays from 22 July to 30 August. There will be pop up events at various times, but the Garden Party site itself will be open throughout the week.

The town square in front of Cornerstone Arts Centre will be transformed for the Garden Party into a mini-festival site, providing a welcoming and relaxed environment. So if you want to try your hand out at an arts workshop, marvel at some street theatre, or just fancy wiling away the summer afternoons in a giant bean bag with a glass of something chilled, we've got you covered.
