We're happy to announce we have some fantastic FREE events taking place throughout the summer holidays with Didcot Garden Party again!

Here’s what’s happening in our courtyard area:

Suitcase Stories on Sat 23 July at 11am

Cornerstone invites you to get carried away with a suitcase full of puppets telling well-loved tales with music, silliness and plenty of joining in.

Arts and crafts on Sat 23 July midday till 3pm

Take a closer look at your food and create exciting, colourful prints on paper using fruits, vegetables and other foods with lots of paint involved.

Poetry Picnic on Thu 28 July at 11am

Come and join Simon Mole and Gecko for a picnic for a celebration of music and poetry. Fun and games (literally) to be had.

The Rascally Dinner on Sat 30 July at 11am and 1pm

Explore the joy of food and where it comes from. We’ll look at different food choices and their impact on the environment in this messy, silly and fantastic production.

Moves and Grooves Dance Workshop on Sat 6 August at midday till 12.30pm

This party is suitable for toddlers up to primary age and will get your toes tapping with energetic choreography. Children must not be left unattended.

The Wagon of Dreams on Sat 13 August at midday and 2.30pm

Brought to you by Cornerstone this wonderful wagon will be parking up in the courtyard ready for you to join three friends in their quest to catch a dream.

Arbor on Wed 17 August at 12.30pm and 2.30pm

This show tells the story of a tree pushed from his home and his fight to preserve his future that encourages everyone to plant and nurture their own trees.

Boogie Mites on Saturday 20 August at 10.30am & 11.15am 

Join Cheryl for an engaging, interactive Boogie Mites music-making session! We'll be singing catchy songs, making a wonderful sound with our instruments and moving our bodies to the beat! Perfect for children from birth to 5 years to share with their favourite grown-ups (and we'll show you how easy it is to carry on brain-boosting musical fun at home too!)

The Hare and the Moon on Sat 27 August 12.30pm and 3pm

Come along to this Cornerstone show and join the Fabularium Astronomers as they tell the tale of how Leapa the Artic Hare and friends that band together to reclaim the sun.

Too Many Cooks on Wed 31 August at 11am, 1pm and 3pm

Join us for a show about three celebrity chefs as they battle it out to win a prize at a food festival. It’s filled with silly sausages, giant sprouts and a whole lot of cheesy puns!
