Two artists response to their love of nature and the local landscape in celebration of Oxfordshire Artweek’s 40th Anniversary

Denny Webb & Charlie Davies are exhibiting a diverse selection of paintings celebrating the local landscape, nature and the concept of bringing the ‘outdoors inside’.

The natural world deeply impacts Denny's work and her paintings invite us to welcome nature into the inner sanctum of our homes. Through clever design and stylish compositions her contemporary paintings capture favourite jugs, kettles and quirky household items in a beautiful amalgamation with local Oxfordshire landscapes.

Charlie is a passionate plein air painter and ventures out in all weathers to portray the changing moods of the seasons in her landscape paintings. She also enjoys capturing the fleeting ephemeral moments of a still life of flowers and her delicate etchings of seed heads and dandelions have an enduring beauty.
