Covid Safety

Mask wearing is now a legal requirement - due to the latest government guidelines all audience members aged 12+ are legally required to wear a face covering throughout your visit to our theatre, including whilst watching the performance.

Performances in Cornerstone Arts Centre's auditorium will not be socially distanced, however our aircon extractor system means that air flow will be fresh and not recycled. For your peace of mind, all our staff are carrying out lateral flow tests at least once a week.

We are very much looking forward to welcoming you to back to Cornerstone.

Youth Theatre School Years 10-13

Thursday 3 Mar 2022 to Thursday 24 Mar 2022

Class: Theatre

Ages: Young people

Classes have been postponed and will start again after half term on the week commencing 28th Feb.

Our eldest youth theatre group provides an in-depth approach to theatre studies.

Youth Theatre for School Years 10-13 gives students an opportunity to perfect their pre-existing skills and learn new ones which don’t feature on the school curriculum, such as puppetry, mask and improvisation.

Students will be challenged to put these skills to use in their own unique performances, giving them a chance to explore their creativity without the pressure of formal assessment.

This class is perfectly suited to young people who are either considering a career in theatre or simply have a passion for performing.

Cornerstone offers a number of free/supported places on our classes and workshops for those who may need some assistance in order to take part. We welcome all enquiries to our supported places scheme. To enquire, please contact our box office on 01235 515144 or email cornerstone@southoxon.gov.uk.
